On Friday the 6th, the conclusive day of the conference, the delegates first had lunch with the mayor of Aalesund, Bjørn Tømmerdal, before the official part of the programme began. The programme both started and ended with music, a short ballet performance called “At this moment” was given in between the five speeches addressing the audience.
After the official part, those interested could have a closer look at each partner’s stand presenting part projects including sun dials, electronic metronomes, calendars and a study of the bronze disc of Nebra. The Norwegians focused on the eternal wooden calendar called “Prime staff”, which has been central in this latest exchange. On Saturday the 08.05.10 all conference members visited the World Heritage site of Geiranger together with the Italian pupils.
